If you think of rear-facing child seats, you can’t ignore the DUALFIX. Britax Römer has improved the classic and re-released it as DUALFIX I-SIZE. With the new i-Size model, the manufacturer promises not only more comfort, but also more safety, because the DUALFIX has not only been visually refreshed, but also equipped with SICT inside, a new and better side impact protection inside the child seat. The DUALFIX M i-Size version allows children from 61cm in height to switch to this seat directly after the baby seat. Rotates 360° and can be adapted to the child and its growing needs

The DUALFIX M I-SIZE is  designed for children between 0 and 18 kilograms and between 61 and 105 cm tall  . Particularly practical: It can be  rotated 360°,  so you can easily turn it to the side to put your child in and take him out – this is a great advantage, even if you only want to use the seat rear-facing. And the rotation function is also worth its weight in gold in two- and three-door cars, because it makes it even easier to put your child in their child seat.

We recommend that you use this seat, which can in principle  be installed facing forwards or rearwards  , exclusively in the rear-facing direction until the end of its service life in order to fully exploit the great safety advantage of rear-facing.

 The DUALFIX M I-SIZE offers  six seating positions, including the resting position for newborns , which means that – depending on the angle of your car seat – they can be transported particularly flat in the car. To allow older children to travel backwards for longer, the support bar of the DUALFIX M I-SIZE can be adjusted: This gives your child’s legs more space in the reboarder and your offspring travels even more comfortably in the car.

Anti-tip system and SICT inside for even more safety

The Britax Römer DUALFIX M I-SIZE is equipped with the tried and tested  anti-tip system  . This Isofix attachment with lowering mechanism reduces the forward movement of your child in the event of a frontal or rear-end collision. The energy of the accident is directed into the car seat and the forces acting on your child are reduced. The risk of serious head and neck injuries is reduced.

The side impact protection in the child seat has also been further improved: The DUALFIX M I-SIZE comes with the modern side impact protection technology  SICT inside,  so that your child is now even better protected in the event of a crash from the side.

Safety made in Germany

The DUALFIX M I-SIZE was developed in Germany and extensively tested on the manufacturer’s own crash test facility. The child seat is also produced in Germany. The high-quality covers are available in selected colors.
